Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fero Place, which appears on Google Play as the developer Feroplace ("Fero Place", "we", "us", or "our"), handles information in connection with all of our games and applications published under that developer account on Google Play and other platforms (each, a "Game", and together, the "Games"). It covers, among others, ERIDDLE: Logic Puzzle Game (com.feroplace.eriddle).

Different Games collect different information. Some of our Games collect no personal data at all. This policy describes what our Games may handle, and it is not limited by any summary shown elsewhere: each Game's "Data safety" section on its Google Play store listing is a summary of that Game's practices, and where a Game needs a disclosure of its own, it is given below.

1.Information We Collect

Depending on the specific Game and the features it integrates, we may process the following types of information:

Information You Choose to Provide

• User-Inputted Data: An optional display name, username, or leaderboard name you choose to enter in a Game.
• Support Communications: The contents of any support request, feedback, or email you send us (including your email address and any attachments).

Information Collected Automatically

Only in Games that display advertisements, utilize analytics, or provide online features, the following data may be collected automatically by integrated third-party SDKs:

• Device & Technical Data: Device model, hardware specs, operating system version, device language, time zone, and app version.
• Identifiers: Internet Protocol (IP) address, mobile advertising identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID / AAID), and app-instance identifiers generated by our analytics provider.
• Approximate Location: A coarse, city- or region-level location inferred from your IP address by our advertising and analytics providers. We never collect precise or GPS location.
• Gameplay & Usage Data: High scores, game progress, achievements, session duration, and in-game events or actions.
• Diagnostics: Anonymous crash logs, performance metrics, and diagnostic data.

Offline, single-player Games that save progress exclusively on your local device and do not integrate ads or analytics do not collect, store, or transmit any of the automatically collected information listed above.

ERIDDLE: Logic Puzzle Game (com.feroplace.eriddle)

ERIDDLE is free and ad-supported. Through Google AdMob and Google Analytics for Firebase it collects approximate (city- or region-level) location inferred from your IP address, in-app actions such as levels started, solved, reset or left, hints used, and sessions, diagnostics and performance data, and device and advertising identifiers. That information is shared with those two Google services, and is used for analytics, for advertising and marketing, and for fraud prevention, security and compliance. ERIDDLE has no account and no login, and never asks for precise location, contacts, photos or files. Your saved game stays on your device - there is no cloud save and we keep no copy of it - while the in-app actions described above, such as which level you are on and how you solved it, are sent to Google Analytics for Firebase. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it asks for your consent to advertising and analytics storage with Google's certified consent form before it requests a single ad or stores an analytics identifier; you can change or withdraw that choice at any time in the game's Settings, under "Privacy options".

2.How and Why We Use Information (Legal Bases)

We use the information described above to provide and operate the Games and their features, to understand how they are played and improve them, to show and measure advertising in ad-supported Games, to keep the Games secure and to prevent fraud and abuse, and to answer support requests.

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your information under the following legal bases:

• Performance of a Contract: To provide, operate, and maintain the Games and their features (e.g., loading your saved progress, managing leaderboards).
• Legitimate Interests: To understand usage trends, optimize performance, fix bugs, improve our Games, and respond to your support requests.
• Consent: To display personalized advertising in Games that are ad-supported, where permitted by law, and to store analytics identifiers in Games that ask for it (ERIDDLE: Logic Puzzle Game does, in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland).
• Legal Compliance: To comply with statutory legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.

3.Third-Party Services

Some of our Games integrate services from third-party providers. These third parties process data independently in accordance with their own privacy policies:

• Google Play Services (Authentication & Leaderboards) — policies.google.com/privacy

• Google Analytics for Firebase (Analytics) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Google Play Billing (In-app purchases) — policies.google.com/privacy
• Unity / Unity Gaming Services (Analytics & Engine) — unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-privacy-policy

Games that do not explicitly integrate these services do not share data with them.

4.Advertising and Opt-Out Rights

For ad-supported Games, Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to serve and measure personalized ads.

• In-Game Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): Where a Game integrates Google's certified consent form - ERIDDLE: Logic Puzzle Game does - it asks for your consent before requesting any ad or storing analytics identifiers, and offers a "Privacy options" entry in its Settings screen where you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
• Device Controls: You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time through your Android system settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or on some devices Settings → Google → All services → Ads; on older Android versions, reset the ID or turn on Opt out of Ads Personalization).
• Ad-Free Games: Games explicitly designated as "Ad-Free" do not display third-party advertisements and do not access your advertising identifier for marketing purposes.

5.Sharing and "Sale" of Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. However, in our ad-supported Games, the transmission of advertising identifiers to third-party ad networks may be classified as "sharing" or a "sale" under certain U.S. state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act — CCPA/CPRA).

Aside from these automated advertising partnerships, we only disclose information to the service providers listed in Section 3, or when strictly required by law to comply with judicial proceedings or protect legal rights.

6.Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the operational purposes outlined in this policy or to comply with applicable legal obligations. Locally stored game progress remains on your device until you manually uninstall the Game or clear its application data.

7.International Data Transfers

Our third-party service providers may store and process information in countries outside your region, including the United States. Where required by international frameworks (such as the GDPR), we ensure that these providers utilize appropriate legal safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

8.Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your geographic location (including the EU/UK under GDPR, and various US states under CCPA/CPRA), you may hold specific legal rights regarding your data, including the right to:

• Access or receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify or correct inaccurate information.
• Delete (erase) your personal data.
• Object to or Restrict certain data processing operations.
• Opt-Out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data for targeted advertising.

9.Children's Privacy and Family Policies

We are deeply committed to protecting the privacy of children. Our data collection practices vary based on the intended audience of each individual Game:

• General Audience Games: These Games are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
• Family/Child-Targeted Games: For Games that participate in Google Play's Families Program or are directed toward children, we strictly adhere to children's privacy regulations (including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act — COPPA). In these specific Games, we disable interest-based behavioral advertising, block the collection of persistent identifiers (except for legally permitted internal operations), and ensure all integrated SDKs are fully compliant with platform family policies.

10.Data Security

We implement reasonable and industry-standard technical and organizational security measures designed to safeguard your information. However, please be aware that no method of electronic transmission over the internet or digital storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
